They’re installing the new electrical service today!! I just came by the building this morning and the electrician was there with his guys. He’s bringing in 400 amps, 200 of which will be for the studio and the other 200 will probably just sit unused (but to be used for other offices in the building at some point).

The subpanels are being installed today too. One subpanel will be for the studio and it will be split into two sections: clean and dirty (100A each). The clean side will have it’s own isolated ground and each outlet on the system will be star-grounded. The HVAC and lights will run on the dirty side.
